All fuel cut defenders sold since February 2008 are v2.5 fuel cut defenders.
FCD's using a green/red/black wiring scheme and through-hole electronic components are v1.0 FCD's, while those using a red/orange/yellow/green/black scheme and surface mount (SMT) components are v2.0 or v2.5 FCD's.
